  This is a lovely place with friendly people and very middle-of-the-road food. I had the fried fish fillets, garlic mashed potatoes, and wedge salad. The fish was nice and crisp, but bland. Mashed potatoes were good. The "wedge" salad was pitiful, just a few pieces of iceberg lettuce on a saucer. But this place is worth the trip for the buttermilk pie, which is truly excellent.

  Well - the "Specials" menu read Grilled Whitefish with 2 sides for 13.99
  The regular menu read 2 Whitefish Fillets grilled, fried or blackened for 11.99.
  I asked the waitress what the difference was, she didn't know and said order from the menu its cheaper. So I did.
  About 10 minutes after I ordered she came back and said "Oh, the regular menu is 2 tilapia fillets"
  So if you go, don't trust the menu, and I didn't get the tilapia, its bad for ya. And they did Not offer to make it right. They Need to Change the Menu to reflect this mistake.
